Wells Fargo recently supplied The McCann Law Group LLP dba Consumer Attorney Services with a dedicated advocacy team in June to help distressed homeowners with mortgages held by Wells Fargo find foreclosure resolutions faster and more efficiently. The advocacy team arose through negotiations among mutual connections with the Office of Executive Complaints, Wells Fargo and Consumer Attorney Services.

Wells Fargo recently supplied Consumer Attorney Services with a dedicated advocacy team in June to help distressed homeowners with mortgages held by Wells Fargo find foreclosure resolutions faster and more efficiently. The advocacy team arose through negotiations among mutual connections with the Office of Executive Complaints, Wells Fargo and Consumer Attorney Services.

Consumer Attorney Services sought to develop this type of relationship with Wells Fargo after opening up similar avenues of communication between Bank of America and Consumer Attorney Services. In December of 2012, Bank of America supplied Consumer Attorney Services with a dedicated advocacy team for the same purpose of helping to find foreclosure resolutions for distressed homeowners quicker and more effectively.

The dedicated advocacy teams supplied by Bank of America and Wells Fargo are able to enhance client care for distressed homeowners through frequent and direct communication with Consumer Attorney Services. In some cases, even face to face meetings have occurred between Consumer Attorney Services and the banks.

Dedicated advocacy teams from the major banks may have limited availability and not at all law firms have access to these types of ongoing and direct channels of communication. Consumer Attorney Services is very pleased with the relationships established thus far and looks forward to pursuing similar types of partnerships with other major banks.

Consumer Attorney Services considers these working agreements as a promising step forward in the banks’ commitment to further helping homeowners after the recent foreclosure crisis. The dedicated advocacy teams allow Consumer Attorney Services to work faster and may help to reduce the large number of homeowners waiting in “foreclosure limbo.”
