Robert Blackwell, CEO and Founder of Electronic Knowledge Interchange (EKI) is the newest addition to ConsumerBase LLC’s Board of Advisors. The appointment reinforces ConsumerBase’s goal to be the leading direct marketing solutions provider in the industry.
Mr. Blackwell is a technology industry leader with nearly 30 years experience in business operations and management. Today he oversees Electronic Knowledge Interchange (EKI), which employs more than 100 technology and business consulting experts.

Since Blackwell began at IBM in 1981, he founded several other Chicago-based companies, including Urban Fishing Development, Bytewise International, Blackwell Consulting Services and Killerspin, the leading table tennis equipment, apparel and promotion company.
Currently Blackwell is on the Executive Committee of the Chicago Convention and Tourism Board, Vice Chairman of the Chicago Sports Commission, Executive’s Club of Chicago and Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce. He sits as Chair of the Business Development Committee of the National Black Chamber of Commerce and is has been member of the Chicago Board of Trade and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Blackwell also services on the board of civic organizations including The Belle Center in Chicago and After School Matters.
