UK Direct Marketing – New Consumer Marketing Database of Transactional Consumers

Businesses looking to acquire new customers through the implementation of Direct Marketing are set to receive a valuable addition to the Consumer Marketing Database arena.

The MMG Consumer Lifestyle Database is set to give Direct Marketers something different, recent, factual, lifestyle information of consumers, enabling direct marketers to connect to the right audience, at the right time, with the right products.

The Mobile Marketing Group (MMG), has launched its UK Consumer Marketing Database. The Consumer Marketing Database is collated from transactional information on over 14 million UK Consumers.

The database has a selectable criteria of over 200 selections including Age, Postcode, Income, Charity Donations, Car Insurance Renewals etc. All records within the Consumer Database have Name, Address, Postcode, Telephone number as standard with the majority also including a mobile number.

Using this database, MMG have profiled and tested numerous industry sectors including Charities, Finance and Insurance. Therefore breaking down the main database into industry required lists, MMG – Financial, MMG – Donor and MMG Auto.

Database Collection Methods
The Consumer Database is gathered predominantly through manufacturers and service providers gathering consumer data through product registration processes either on or offline. The Database spans buyers of brown and white goods, retail, fashion, travel and financial services right through to communications and family products. They are also recent and active buyers and as you would expect for a DMA member are all appropriately permissioned and screened against the TPS and MPS.

Verification and 3rd Party Permission
The MMG Consumer Marketing Database is fully opted in to receive 3rd Party Marketing via Telephone, Direct Mail, Email and SMS. It is fully compliant with the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Electronic Communications Act 2003. All records within the database are less than 6 months old with 70% less than 3 months. All records have been PAF validated and screened against MPS and TPS. All contacts are screened quarterly against the leading suppression file GAS to ensure they haven’t moved since their recent purchase activity and are therefore entirely verified and proved present at their given address.

Those businesses wishing to communicate with consumers using mobile records either Telemarketing or SMS also have the added benefit of the MMG Platform which checks the clients’ records through a HLR Lookup before despatch ensuring highly deliverable and connected records.
