Campers return year after year to work on specific drills and gain the confidence they need to head into their upcoming seasons.

Campers at the Contact Football Camp at Lake Forest College will train with veteran coach, James Catanzaro, and receive three sessions of football instruction each day, covering both individual positions and team play.

Jim Catanzaro has been directing Contact Football Camps for the past eight summers and each summer he brings a high level of enthusiasm, passion, and energy. Along with a reputable coaching career, Coach Catanzaro was selected as a Liberty Mutual Coach of the Year Finalist for two consecutive years and was also named as a coach for the Stars and Stripes, a team that competes in the Tazon de Estrellas Bowl.

“Coach Catanzaro has developed a highly reputable camp program,” says Michael de Surville, Senior Vice President of US Sports Camps. “Campers return year after year to work on specific drills and gain the confidence they need to head into their upcoming seasons.”

At camp, campers receive three practices per day with a focus on individual position work and team play. All participants will be divided according to age, weight, and ability. Camper’s housing and meals take place on campus.
