Antibiotic-resistant diseases are on the rise and there’s no winning the war against contagious pathogens.

ContagionSurvival.com, a Southern California survival company, reminds the public to be aware of a new strain of bird flu, H7N9 which is looking more like a mammalian virus than a bird virus.
Siting an April 6 news article by Simeon Bennett in Bloomberg News, "New Bird Flu Seen Having Some Markers of Airborne Killer”, a London epidemiologist warned that heightened vigilance needs to be in place at the moment. He also stated, “While no human-to-human transmission has yet occurred, once an epidemic gets established, the doubling time can be very fast.”
Health authorities went on to say that H7N9 is the result of a merging of two other viruses with features that are known to jump easily from birds to mammals, and a mutation that may help it attach to cells in the respiratory tract.
“Besides the outbreak killing at least 20 people now, it has required the culling of 20,000 birds and has caused soybean futures and airline stocks to fall,” says a ContagionSurvival.com spokesman. “Our company has been providing CBRN suits and respirators to the UN as well as Japan, Costa Rica and Indonesia, but we’ve made the latest technology available to American citizens. Our powered hoods filter chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear components, but we’ve also seen a gain in smoke escape hoods as well.”
“Antibiotic-resistant diseases are on the rise and there’s no winning the war against contagious pathogens,” the spokesperson continues. “But with proper awareness of these threats, the right tools and a plan to keep your family safe, we can prepare for the coming Pandemic which many health professionals say is inevitable.”
