Today, at the world’s largest timepiece and jewelry tradeshow in Basel, Switzerland, Contenix announced that it has been chosen by luxury Swiss watch manufacturer, Ulysse Nardin, to create a business-to-business (B2B) iPad app. The app enables Ulysse Nardin to showcase their entire product collection and place orders directly from their global retail network into their ERP system. Ulysse Nardin’s iPad app is powered by the Contenix Application Portal, which enables premium brands to manage and distribute vital digital content such as catalog and marketing information across multiple sales channels, devices, and languages.

Ulysse Nardin presented Contenix with exacting functional specifications for the iPad business application. “We wanted to be able to showcase our current collection, novelties, and video content, but also use the Contenix business application to take orders from retailers from different regions, in different currencies, and provide real-time order updates to our ERP system at the factory,” said Patrik Hoffmann, head of sales and marketing for Ulysse Nardin. “The flexibility that the Contenix iPad application offers was key to our decision.
