We are working lighter than other agencies, we have a range of partnerships capable of heightening our clients brand-customer experience and at the end of the day the work we produce is tight.
New York, NY (PRWEB) August 1, 2009
Executive Creative Director Paul Slater will soon have a range of clients for his uniquely positioned new Creative Shop. The London native, who has worked previously for The Arnell Group and Wolff-Olins, has launched a new agency called Contrabrand.
With offices in New York and London, Contrabrand - A Revolutionary Idea, rebels against traditional agencies and practices that they believe are no longer relevant. With an in-house team of finance specialists, music producers, published authors, college students, and, of course, designers, Mr. Slater is poised to tackle the new problems the marketing industry is facing in a time of changing media and recession.
When asked about why his new venture is different than what is already out there: "We are working lighter than other agencies, we have a range of partnerships capable of heightening our clients brand-customer experience and at the end of the day the work we produce is tight."
The Brit marketer also understands the present climate: "Being a relevant marketing partner today is not 'radically simple' as some agencies claim it to be. In order to stand out you need to really look at who you're talking to, then find original and unique solutions while simultaneously having clear goals in order to score."
Mr. Slater's previous clients have included Esprit, Moshino, 7th on Sixth, Samsung, Parmalat, Movado, Citibank, Merrill Lynch, Hutchison Whampoa, Orange Telecom, Heathrow Express, Tate Modern, Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), Biotherm, Black Book, VF, Tocca, SOS Food, Sony Classical, Armani, Zuruch Insurance, Cap/Gemini/Ernst & Young, America Media, World Gold Council, Coca-Cola, Nikon, Remy Martin, Mount Gay, and NOS Energy Drink.
Contrabrand is already working on projects for USA Networks, SuperVision, PowerHouse, Nikon and POP Shop.
Daniel Webber, Managing Director of Contrabrand, is excited about the relationships they have built so far: "We're currently having candid conversations with clients about their needs, budgets and expectations. It is really a better way of doing business, in my opinion."
