Affiliate Manager of the Year Award to be Announced at Affiliate Summit 2007 West

Jamie Birch, Director of Affiliate Relations at Converseon, has been nominated by his peers as one of the three finalists in the Affiliate Manager of the Year category of the Affiliate Summit Pinnacle Awards, to be presented at the Affiliate Summit 2007 West in Las Vegas on January 22, 2007.

In Jamie's position at Converseon, he coordinates an impressive number of successful affiliate programs for prestigious clients including Hilton Hotels, Factory Card & Party Outlet, Taylor Gifts, Mikasa, MyWinesDirect and Edmund Scientific.

According to Birch, the secret ingredients of Converseon's exceptional performance in affiliate marketing services are relationship building and marketing channels integration. He was able to generate a high volume of sales and incremental revenue through creative partnerships, efficient promotions and product placement strategies with top partners as well as small niche affiliates. He has also held positions with a number of e-commerce and online marketing companies where he focused on performance marketing and customer retention and activation initiatives.

When Jamie is not working, blogging at or spending time with his wife and three children, you may find him playing his guitar or training. He currently competes in several triathlons a year as well as cycling races. In June 2007 he is planning on attempting the Ironman Coeur d'Alene tournament, as well as the Spokane Marathon in October.
