Springfield, Mo. (PRWEB) February 19, 2014 -- Mike McClaflin, retired Assemblies of God World Missions Regional Director for Africa, has joined Convoy of Hope. His primary duties will include functioning as the liaison between Convoy of Hope and the Assemblies of God National Resource Center, as well as other various departments and ministries. McClaflin will also consult with Convoy of Hope on global operations.

McClaflin begins his tenure at Convoy of Hope after retiring from Assemblies of God World Missions. McClaflin was East Africa Area Director for eight years before assuming responsibilities as Assemblies of God World Missions Administrator for 10 years. Since 2003, he served as the Assemblies of God World Missions Regional Director for Africa. For 14 years, McClaflin has served as a member of Convoy of Hope’s Board of Directors and was chairman for the last five years.
