Called 'Simply 3-5' the new easy cooking book aims to equip "the widest range of people with the simplest way to create brilliant dishes". Each recipe needs only a few readily available ingredients, hence the title Simply 3-5. The ingredients are easy-to-source, and the recipes easy to follow, simple to cook and require no experience. "The key is that these are simple, real recipes which are tried and tested, and which guarantee delicious food for cooks of any standard" says Fran.
Recipes range from simple starters and soups to appetising main courses and stunning desserts. Many have been collected over the years from kitchens around the world, but some have been created specifically for the book.
"We believe that people will use this book over and over again to produce delicious dishes for their families which are simple to cook" says Fran. "The dishes are practical enough for everyday use but also capable of impressing guests when something special is required. We want this book to provide everyday cookery inspiration for people with busy lifestyles who enjoy delicious food".

About the Authors
Fran Winston and Kathy Woods are sisters living on opposite sides of the world who have in common a love of cookery, busy careers and families to raise. They passionately believe that the preparation, presentation and enjoyment of food are central to the relationships we develop with our families and friends.
Fran has run the Gables School of Cookery in Falfield, Gloucestershire, for the last twelve years. She has trained more than 1000 cooks and chefs and derives great satisfaction from the achievements of her students, many of whom have stayed in touch long after they complete their courses. Keen cookery students seeking a professional career enrol on the Residential Cookery Course, which is an intensive hands on 4 week course.
Kathy enjoys a rewarding career in Business Management in a Melbourne College, but has remained an enthusiastic amateur cook.
