More than 50 cooking classes now offered for anyone interested in culinary arts

L’École Culinaire Academy, 9200 Olive Boulevard, Suite 108, in Olivette, is pleased to announce a new selection of more than 50 cooking classes in St. Louis this February and March designed for professional and amateur “chefs” regardless of skill level. Participants can expand their cooking abilities and advance their techniques while learning a variety of recipes for entrees and desserts, wine appreciation and everything in-between.

Learn to make Valentine sweets, Easter treats and date night delights with creative culinary classes at L’École Culinaire Academy. For those interested in learning to make Valentine’s Day sweets, a candy-making class is offered from 6p.m. to 10 p.m. on Wednesday February 6. Advanced Easter Egg Décor, Hot Cross Buns and Easter Bunny Cupcake classes are available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 24. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, drop the kids off for an Easter cookie and cupcake decorating extravaganza with the Academy chefs.

Spice things-up on date night with L’École Culinaire’s Date Night cooking series and accompanying classes. Students can create a wide variety dishes from all over the world. These Internationally-themed classes feature delectable, romantic recipes from Spain, France, Italy and more. Date Night classes start the week of February 7.

Additionally, in March, the Academy is offering two wine tasting classes in St. Louis. At 6:30 p.m. on Monday, March 11, students can take a brief journey through Napa via selected wines, accompanied by cheese for paring. On Wednesday March 27, students are invited to experience Sonoma County wines, accompanied by cheese for pairing.
