Corda Technologies announced today that it has named Neal Williams as President of Corda Services, a new line of business for the company.

Mr. Williams, who founded Corda Technologies 11 years ago, will have responsibility for the sales and delivery of Corda technical support, customer training, consulting and implementation services.

“Neal is a luminary in the field of data visualization,” said John Purvis, president and CEO of Corda Technologies. “As President of Corda Services, he will provide our customers with unimagined access into the range and power of Corda’s technology.”

Mr. Williams started Corda in 1996 shortly after leaving WordPerfect, where he spent many years in the research and development of sophisticated data visualization technology. During Corda’s first decade of operation, Mr. Williams oversaw many firsts for the company, including the introduction of substantial patented and patent-pending technology. Firsts include:

• Support for SVG technology for graphing and charting.
• Utilization of wireless technologies to deliver data graphics to desktops, handheld devices and mobile phones.
• Automatically optimized browser rendering using best image auto-detect functionality.
• Interactive graphs, charts and maps with descriptive text, enabling the visually impaired to “see” the data with the use of a screen reader.
