Behavioral Healthcare Technology Company Adds Feature to Improve Clinical Process

For a big clinical roll-out, this is almost a must-have

Core Solutions, Inc. announced today that it has added new functionality to its well respected Web Care 3.0 electronic health record technology, which will make it easier for clinicians to take electronic notes in a central location.

After some clients expressed a need for this, the technology company developed the functionality as an addition to its robust software package, which offers a comprehensive set of features to manage client electronic health record information within the behavioral health environment.

Core Solutions has begun rolling out the new clinicians’ notes entry format within one of its customer agencies, and the company expects more clients that use a lot of clinical processes to follow suit.

“For a big clinical roll-out, this is almost a must-have,” said Bill Guyer, a senior implementation consultant. “The idea is to give clinicians their own centralized place to make their own notes. It’s like a hub for them.”

When clinicians write group notes, the new format allows them to enter the information once. The data is then transported to all individuals in the same group, eliminating the need to re-enter information over and over.

The software company, based in Wayne, Pa., provides software and solutions to the health and human services industries and, within the last 10 years, emerged as a national leader in the field.
