As previously announced to customers, Sage Software released a statement earlier this month advising SBT/Accpac VisionPoint clients of their intention to discontinue the product effective September 30, 2007. After this date, Sage Software will no longer provide maintenance for SBT/Accpac VisionPoint accounting software, including program enhancements and upgrades.

The newest generation of SBT/Accpac VisionPoint accounting software product is Sage Pro ERP. Because the SBT/Accpac VisionPoint data structure and daily operational features are so similar to Sage Pro ERP, the transition is extremely straightforward and logical. The products are surprisingly similar, which allows SBT/Accpac VisionPoint users to painlessly transition to the Sage Pro ERP software. Thus, SBT/Accpac VisionPoint users are encouraged to upgrade to Sage Pro ERP to eliminate any future difficulties which may occur when continuing to use obsolete accounting software.
