Scarecrow Hollow Corn Maze has a fun-filled day planned for the 8th Annual Fall Festival to be held October 4 from 12PM to 6PM, rain date October 11 (see http://www.scarecrowhollow.org for schedule). Come as a family - boys and girls, moms and dads - to a beautiful country setting. Autumn is the perfect time to visit Scarecrow Hollow Corn Maze for hayrides and pumpkins. The Fall Festival features scarecrow making, pumpkin painting and carving, sack races, hayrides, food, face painting and kid's crafts. Special events include a Halloween puppet show by Puppets Pizzazz at 1PM and magic tricks by Farmer Jack (2PM). Kid's games begin at 3PM. Also, trek through the corn and find the clues to crack this year's "Maze Trap - Rise of the Junk Monsters", dealing with the importance of recycling. More than a walk through the corn stalks, the maze is an interactive game with 10 clever clue signs scattered throughout the field. The underlying message highlights how individual actions have an impact on the local and global environment.
Scarecrow Hollow Corn Maze is located at 335 Quinton-Hancock's Bridge Road, Salem, NJ 08079 - just 2 miles off State Route 49 between Salem and Quinton. About Scarecrow Hollow Corn Maze - Scarecrow Hollow Corn Maze is a division of Wood Farms, established in 1966. We started doing the corn maze in an effort to educate the public about how food is grown and to provide them with an enjoyable farm visit. While not everyone can experience life on the farm, everyone can have a farm experience by visiting Scarecrow Hollow.
Proceeds benefit St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
