CorreLog also announced the general availability of their CorreLog for BMC Remedy Service Desk integration. Through BMC’s Technology Alliance Program, CorreLog provides mutual customers a real-time combination of SIEM, IT enterprise search and security event correlation. CorreLog also announced plans to integrate with BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management.

CorreLog brings advanced data aggregation, real-time correlation and searching and indexing of Syslog data and other messages to the BMC client-base. CorreLog manages event logs from mainframes, routers, firewalls, and Windows, UNIX and other platforms in just a few minutes. The CorreLog security and log management system provides a fully web-based, enterprise level message logging system that provides customers with the ability to index and correlate event-log data in real-time. Used in tandem with Remedy, system threats identified by CorreLog will automatically open help desk tickets in Remedy to allow companies to quickly assign, troubleshoot and remediate threats — enhancing overall security posture and vulnerability.”
