Vatterott’s Salon Cosmetique will host a holiday open house on Thursday, December 15, 2011, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at their facility in St. Charles. The open house will provide guests with complimentary holiday stress-relief services, along with holiday refreshments and 20% off Salon Cosmetique products. Guests can receive a coupon for a free manicure if they make a donation to Youth in Need by bringing an unwrapped toy to the event. As an extra holiday treat, Santa will arrive at the salon to greet the children that attend.

About the Salon Cosmetique Program
Students who successfully complete this program will receive the education and training they need to prepare for the State Board Examination. Students will learn the technical skills and theory of hair dressing, hair cutting, permanent weaving, hair coloring, manicuring, iron curling, and business. Students also will study hair structure and hair chemistry to better understand the chemicals used in cosmetology. Successful graduates of each cosmetology school in St. Louis who receive a professional cosmetology license will be able to perform standard cosmetology service in a beauty salon.
Salon Cosmetique offers affordable salon services to the public. All services are performed by student stylists under the supervision of licensed instructors.
