With 14 years of experience as an attorney, Cosmo J. Tedone has tried over 60 jury trials and hundreds of bench trials. He is a former Assistant Will County Public defender and an active member of the Illinois State Bar Association and Will County Bar Association. Cosmo J. Cosmo earned his J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley School of Law (Cum laude) in 1999 and his B.A. from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1990.
While in law school, he received a Certificate of Merit in Torts and Family law, was a finalist in Thomas M. Cooley School of Law’s Moot Court competition, and became a member of the Law Review.
Cosmo is admitted to the practice law in the State of Connecticut, the State of Illinois, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois Trial Bar. He is also a former member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers.
In his personal life, Cosmo is a supporter of the Will County “No Kill” Shelter. He is an annual Relay for Life Team Sponsor. Additionally, Cosmo is a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church of Shorewood.
