Strategically placed media pods along the perimeter of the refreshed welcome center boast plenty of cozy seating areas where guests can watch their favorite news, sports and entertainment programming on individual flat-screen TVs.

Internet surfers will fully appreciate complimentary Wi-Fi access, which has been boosted to a 20 megabyte bandwidth so movies, music or large work presentations can be downloaded on laptops, tablets or cellphones with ease. A 52-inch interactive GoBoard also has been installed so travelers can find current weather conditions, get directions to Jamestown and Yorktown in the historic triangle, check out the day’s headlines and seek the latest flight information and statuses from Newport News/Williamsburg International and surrounding airports all with a simple touch or swipe. A separate Boarding Pass Station features dedicated computers where guests can print tickets and documents to make their traveling experiences more convenient.

The addition of The Bistro – Eat. Drink. Connect., is the cornerstone of the reimagined lobby and will raise the standard for dining at the hotel near Busch Gardens, VA. Rooms boast new carpet, vinyl, chairs, glass boards, pull-down screens and podiums. Outside areas weren’t ignored during the renovation, either. The indoor/outdoor connecting pool was retiled and the landing resurfaced. Guests can now lounge on new Brown Jordan luxury furniture around the pool or take a seat in a new outdoor area created with rattan chairs and tables.
