Yang’s, the second brand launched by Korean designer Hee Deuk Yang, will be showcased at New York Couture Fashion week at 5:00 pm on Sunday, February 14. The show will be presented at the legendary Grand Ballroom at the Waldorf Astoria.

A contemporary collection for younger women, Yang’s by Hee Deuk is an expression of style and freedom, mixing haute couture with Bohemian touches. The 2010-2011 collection features Burberry-inspired plaids in flowing skirts and trouser pants topped with sleeveless creations accented by waterfalls of feminine ruffles. Contrary to the black, red and tan plaids are energetic, vibrant dresses and tops swirling in graphic floral patterns and gorgeous feminine shapes in diaphanous fabrics.
Featherweight styles symbolize escapism. Hee Deuk Yang launched his career after winning top honors in a Korean design contest in 1990. Prior to Yang’s designed multiple fashion lines, which has been featured in Hong Kong, Beijing and Seoul fashion weeks, as well as Italian fashion magazines. Prior to launching his first line Eye Sex in 2000, Mr. Yang established JK International, manufacturing uniforms for companies such as Aveda and LaPrairie.
