Bisk CPA Review is pleased to announce that it has once again awarded a total of $5000 in accounting scholarships to the NABA Regional Student Conferences. NABA (National Association of Black Accountants), an organization made up of minority accounting students, accountants and CPAs, is an acknowledged leader in expanding the influence of minority professionals in the fields of accounting and finance.

Recognizing Dedicated Leaders
Recipients of Bisk CPA Review’s accounting scholarships are individuals who exhibit strong leadership skills, have continued involvement in community activities and NABA, and maintain a minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0. This year’s recipients include:

  • Michael A. Fitzgerald, a senior majoring in accounting at Chicago State University, where he holds a 3.26 GPA.
  • Brittany Credit, a senior at Clark Atlanta University majoring in accounting who carries a 3.47 GPA.
  • Zena Fletcher, a senior accounting major at Morgan State University; Ms. Fletcher has a 4.0 GPA in her major and a 3.76 GPA overall.
  • Hivan Djoko, a graduate of Central Washington University and the 2008 recipient of the College of Business’ Boeing Minority Student Scholarship.
  • Lissa Jean-Baptiste, a senior majoring in accounting at Grambling University, where she holds a major GPA of 3.89.

Bisk CPA Review extends its sincerest congratulations to all the winning NABA members.
