The report, titled “2013 Human Resources Updates,” covers a wide range of topics that will directly affect employers in the coming year.
Over the past year, dozens of new California employment laws and legislative bills were passed, to go into effect on January 1, 2013. Additional changes affect employers nationwide in the areas of payroll tax limits, workers’ compensation insurance, and most significantly, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, otherwise known as Health Care Reform.

We hope our annual report will provide some insight into what they can expect in 2013.”
