Certified Payment Processing Employees Collecting Food for Holidays

Certified Payment Processing (CPP) employees are spreading holiday cheer again this year with their annual food drive for a local charity.

This is our second year to work with Metrocrest. They do amazing work throughout the year for people in our community, and we like making an impact in our own neighborhood.

This week, Certified Payment Processing (CPP) begins their annual Holiday Food Drive. Once again, the company is teaming with local charity Metrocrest Social Services to help those in the community when CPP is based.

Employees of CPP, along with the two sales divisions, TransTech Merchant Group and Summit Merchant Solutions, have been given a list of needed food items from Metrocrest. As an incentive, each of the food item have been assigned a point value, and for every five points donated, employees can earn a casual day the week prior to Christmas. They can also choose to donate $5 to earn a casual day.

“We do a fundraiser every year during the holidays,” say Tony Norrie, Vice President and General Manager. “This is our second year to work with Metrocrest. They do amazing work throughout the year for people in our community, and we like making an impact in our own neighborhood.”

Last year, the CPP team brought in nearly 700 pounds of food, along with more than $1,400. The food drives runs through December 14.

Through our assistance with rent, utility payments, food, clothing, medical prescriptions, and more, we truly prevent families from being homeless. Our Employment Program provides individuals with support for a successful work search in the form of resume assistance and individual job leads, gasoline vouchers and bus passes. In addition we have programs to assist families in successfully managing financially stressful seasons.
