Today’s online content is much more informal, says Wu. To attract the widest audience and increase the odds of repeat visitors, smaller businesses need to create content that is easy to understand. Writing the same way one speaks can be seen as being more authentic and real, as opposed to writing stuffy copy bogged down with polysyllabic words.
