Former Ted.Perez Executive Joins BLITZ
Agency Names Eric Perez as New Group Creative Director

Interactive
marketing agency BLITZ
has announced the appointment of Eric
Perez as the new group creative director. The former principle and
creative director of Ted.Perez
+ Associates, an acclaimed advertising agency for media and
entertainment, will be responsible for the operations of the creative
department, overseeing the process, methodology, strategy and vision for
all client accounts. Eric will also be responsible for ensuring the
highest standards in creative and user
experience quality throughout all agency work. Perez brings 15 years
of experience in designing interactive
destinations and compliments BLITZ’s extensive portfolio
of talent, which combines technical
expertise and creative
muscle.

Eric joins BLITZ with the expertise of guiding creative teams in

engagements, and leveraging his vast knowledge of animation,

and interactive
design. As creative director for new media at CMP Entertainment
Group/Deadline Advertising, Eric was tasked with reinvigorating the
theatrical, TV, home entertainment and games verticals. Eric also led
the creative teams at Ted.Perez + Associates, where he spearheaded the
design and development of interactive campaigns for a number of
theatrical properties; most notably Pirates
of the Caribbean, Ice
Age and Terminator
3. He has also served as associate creative director at Genex
Interactive, an AdWeek
Top 50 Interactive Agency.
Eric has held several positions at dna studio, Warner Brothers, and
Cimarron Group (formerly Cimarron/Bacon/O’Brien). In his roles, he
helped oversee the approaches and standards for creative production for
a number of campaigns, including HarryPotter.com, among others. Through
Eric’s leadership, the respective agencies won a number of awards from
several prestigious groups, including SXSW,
the One
Show, Communication
Arts, and the Webby,
Key
Art, CLIO
and Addy
Awards.
