In challenging economic times, finding creative strategies for investing in real estate, is priceless - and that is what our podcast is about
(PRWEB) July 13, 2011
There is little doubt that Apple’s iTunes has revolutionized the way we access music and movies. However, it is increasingly being used by businesses and news networks who create podcasts that allow them to speak directly to their audiences. Valuable information is rewarded with high rankings, as Creative Real Estate revealed in celebrating a recent podcast’s number one iTunes spot.
The podcast, an interview of Creative Real Estate’s Rick Otton by one of his most successful students, Ben Chislett, appears to have checked all the boxes for successful iTunes podcast creation.
“Our interview had a focus on a topic that is of real concern to people at the moment.” explained Mr Otton. “In challenging economic times, finding creative strategies for investing in real estate, is priceless - and that is what our podcast is about.”
And the response was surprising, even for the gregarious Otton. “Our podcast hit number one in iTunes just two days after it was released. The result was, of course, humbling, but what it told us was that our message was one that people were searching for.”
Mr Otton is an original pioneer of creative property strategies and founder of a leading property enterprise that operates in the property markets of the Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom and USA.
In the Creative Real Estate podcast, he reveals how, in Texas in 1991 he uncovered an innovative strategy of buying and selling real estate that resulted in him creating a portfolio of 76 properties in his first twelve months of active investing.
Mr Otton’s creative real estate strategies are being successfully implemented in many different countries, even though the legal paperwork for each country may vary. However, in the podcast he reveals that while adhering to those regulations, it is not necessary that traditional lenders to be in control of a person’s ability to invest in real estate.
“For too long we have been at the mercy of the banks when wanting to invest in real estate. Between the banks’ and real estate agents’ tunnel-vision approach to property investment, too many people are missing out on what could be life-changing opportunities” said Otton.
In this podcast interview Mr Otton, with his trademark no-nonsense approach, illustrates every point he makes with easy to understand examples. By putting forward new concepts and ideas for successful real estate investing, he challenges traditional perceptions and presents alternatives for those who would prefer not to struggle within the constraints of institutional lending models.
