Session Teaches Human Resources Professionals to Leverage Facebook for Social Recruiting

Neil Costa, HireClix CEO

Credit unions face a more competitive business environment as they go toe to toe with banks. Building a game plan for social recruiting and leveraging Facebook is one of the most innovative and cost effective ways to target passive candidates.

HireClix CEO Neil Costa will present a session on Facebook recruiting this week at the annual Credit Union National Association (CUNA) Human Resources, Training and Development Council Conference. The seminar focuses on how credit unions can utilize Facebook to build their employment brands, recruit passive candidates and diversify their recruitment advertising strategy. Costa will present the Facebook recruiting sessions on Thurs., April 19 at 10:15 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. at the council conference hosted at the San Antonio Marriott Riverwalk in San Antonio, Texas.

Social recruiting has a lot of noise but our goal is to provide human resources professionals at credit unions with practical steps to get started on Facebook,” said Neil Costa, CEO and founder of HireClix. “Credit unions face a more competitive business environment as they go toe to toe with banks and their need for great people is pushing them to get creative when searching for talent. Building a game plan for social recruiting and leveraging Facebook is one of the most innovative and cost effective ways to target passive candidates. We will spend time in the session demystify the use of Facebook for human resources and provide a practical, cost effective game plan they can use for their credit unions.”
