We see a big uptick in the technology industry, particularly with respect to network, communications, and health products.

Choice Logistics, Inc., the leading provider of critical service parts logistics, announced today that Mike Beck, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), was one of three financial executives invited to participate in the Bank of America Merrill Lynch 2012 CFO Outlook Spring Update Webcast, which is now publicly available for viewing. Beck was part of a select panel asked to discuss the results of the banks’ latest CFO Outlook survey.

“We see a big uptick in the technology industry, particularly with respect to network, communications, and health products,” Beck answered in response to questions regarding optimism in the economy. “2011 was an excellent year for Choice Logistics, and 2012 has started off very well.”

Beck’s invitation to participate in the panel stemmed from the respect he has earned in the financial community and the fiscal discipline he has implemented to ensure Choice Logistics maintains a strong balance sheet, even as it expands global operations and business development. Beck identified the need for more technology talent as Choice Logistics advances its self-service Internet application and other information systems to increase efficiencies and add capabilities for its high-tech clients.

Conducted by Granite Research Consulting, the CFO Outlook helps Bank of America Merrill Lynch better understand how financial executives view the economy. The results are compiled from more than 250 interviews with CFOs, finance directors and other executives selected randomly from U.S. companies with annual revenues between $25 million and $2 billion.

The panel discussion was led by Laura Whitley, Head of Global Commercial Banking, and included Beck, Mark Sturgeon, CFO of Advanced Drainage Systems in Columbus, OH, and Bob Gallagher, CFO of Classified Ventures in Chicago, IL. The three financial executives provided examples of opportunities and challenges in their particular markets, which are all considered bellwethers to the larger economy. The Video-On-Demand Webcast was made available to more than 200,000 Bank of America associates around the world immediately upon its release, and it is now available for public viewing at http://www.bankofamerica.com/cfooutlook.
