Manhattan Theater District Hotel Redefines “Dinner and A Show”.

When theater enthusiasts take advantage of Broadway Week's two-for-one tickets and Crowne Plaza Times Square Manhattan's Broadway Baby II Package, they will add "and a stay" to the classic phrase "dinner and a show."

Taking a cue from the success of theatrical revivals, the Crowne Plaza Times Square Manhattan is giving its popular Broadway Baby package a second act – with an updated storyline – for New York City’s next Broadway Week, Jan. 17 – Feb. 4.

The new script for Broadway Baby II reads “dinner for two at the hotel’s retro chic Brasseries 1605 over looking Times Square, and parking at the Crowne Plaza Times Square Manhattan’s on-site garage included.” So when theater enthusiasts take advantage of Broadway Week’s two-for-one tickets for many of the Great White Way’s biggest hits and the Broadway Baby II Package, they will add “and a stay” to the classic phrase “dinner and a show” – an overnight stay for them and their car at the only hotel in Manhattan with a front door on Broadway.

Plus, Broadway Baby II-ers will applaud the term “room with a view” as all the Crowne Plaza Times Square Manhattan’s accommodations afford guests show-stopping Hudson River or cityscape vistas.

Broadway Week was created by The Broadway League and NYC & Company to bolster the box office during slow periods, by enabling Broadway buffs to purchase two tickets for the price of one. A record 22 shows are participating in this 2012 edition, including: Anything Goes; Chicago; Jersey Boys; Lion King; Mama Mia!; Mary Poppins; Memphis; The Gershwin’s Porgy & Bess; Priscilla Queen of the Desert; Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark; Sister Act; and Wicked. All of them within just a few, easily strolled blocks of the Crowne Plaza Times Square Manhattan, located in the heart of the Theater District on Broadway between 48th and 49th.

The Crowne Plaza Times Square Manhattan’s Broadway Baby II package includes accommodations in one of the hotel’s stylish, recently refurbished guest accommodations with incomparable views, dinner for two at Brasserie 1605 and parking. Available Jan. 17 – Feb. 4, Broadway Baby II starts at $239 per night, exclusive of tax, gratuity and theater tickets. Future Broadway Baby II-ists should go to http://www.nycgo.com/broadwayweek to purchase their show tickets at their earliest convenience.
