Many small business owners don't realize the risk they're taking by not safeguarding their data.

Cleveland IT services provider CRU Solutions is offering a free webinar for small business owners and IT decision-makers, “Safeguarding Data”, on Thursday, May 17 at 2 p.m. EDT. The webinar will be presented by Jim Kerr, President of CRU Solutions.

Attendees will learn about data backups, email archiving, record retention, and how these areas can impact compliance issues and the ability to recover quickly from business interruption. In addition, attendees will receive tips they can use right away to help safeguard their data.

All small business owners can benefit from understanding the importance of safeguarding their data in case of business interruption. Data backup is crucial and can take many forms, both onsite and in the cloud. Email archiving and record retention policies and practice are important if your business must meet compliance requirements.

“Many small business owners we talk to either don’t realize the risk they’re taking by not reliably safeguarding their data or they aren’t sure where to begin,” said Jim Kerr. “This webinar will help get past the “noise” many small business owners hear when they try to identify and address these issues.”
