CTI-Pro has a vision of transforming the market for leading-edge telecommunications in Central Europe, enabling the region’s service providers to roll out services and capabilities faster than ever before
Montreal and Prague (Vocus) September 1, 2010
TelcoBridges Inc., a leading provider of enabling technologies for telecom network convergence, value-added services development, and network performance management, today announced that CTI-Pro of Prague, Czech Republic, a leading reseller of converged network solutions in Central Europe, has joined TelcoBridges’ Media Gateway Partner Program. Launched by TelcoBridges in early 2010, the Media Gateway Partner Program provides member partners with access to enhanced channel pricing, new sales and training tools, and extensive product collateral that enable those same partners to easily market, sell and support converged network solutions based on TelcoBridges’ Tmedia™ family of VOIP gateways.
“Over the past decade, as network convergence efforts progressed in Central Europe, we consistently heard from our customers that it was simply impractical to keep deploying more and more devices,” said Petr Spacil, Sales Manager for CTI-PRO. “By offering high-density Tmedia VOIP gateways—with their support for SIP, SS7, ISDN, and SIGTRAN in the same device, and up to 64E1s or an STM-1 link—to our service provider customers, we will help them to address many of the challenges that have stopped from fully realizing the benefits of converged networks.”
“CTI-Pro has a vision of transforming the market for leading-edge telecommunications in Central Europe, enabling the region’s service providers to roll out services and capabilities faster than ever before,” said Daniel Paradis, Vice President, Global Sales at TelcoBridges Inc. “Our Tmedia VOIP gateways, which have drastically altered the dynamics of deploying converged networks—lower capital costs and lower operating costs—fully support that vision.”
The Tmedia family of VOIP gateways offer connectivity options ranging from 1-1024 T1/E1/J1, 1-48 DS-3 or 1-16 STM-1 interfaces, scaling to over 32,000 universal voice channels in a single system. Recognized for their high density and energy efficiency, Tmedia VOIP gateways provide extensive support for signaling protocols—SS7, ISDN, CAS R2, SIGTRAN, SIP, and H.248 can all be run concurrently—and media handling—including T.38 fax relay and v.34 fax transmission—in a single device, enabling Tmedia VOIP gateways to perform the work of multiple devices while using the power, cooling and rack space of just one. This results in energy savings of up to 2/3rds when compared with competing products.
