This month, March 2008, Culinary Institute of Virginia will be graduating their first class of students from their 18-month program. Graduates will have earned their Associate of Applied Science Degree in Culinary Science. To supplement their hands-on education, graduates will have participated in two externships during their time at Culinary Institute of Virginia in order to give them "real world" experience.
