The Lancashire based recruitment consultancy has invested over £150,000 in the refurbishment of Milnshaw House, which dates back to 1867, and transformed its facilities to a standard that would match those found in large recruitment consultancies in London and Manchester.
New facilities include a new state of the art reception and waiting area, purpose built confidential customer interview facilities which includes three soundproofed interview rooms and de-brief rooms and a dedicated kitchen.
Commenting on the investment, Richard Mellor, Managing Director of Cummins Mellor said, “As one of the leading recruitment consultancies in the North West, we felt there was a need to ensure that our premises and the facilities that we provide to our clients matched our high customer care standards.
“We listened to our clients’ needs and wants and I’m proud to say that we’re the first consultancy in East Lancashire to offer such facilities; it’s not only our front of house that has benefitted from the refurbishment, our staff areas have been significantly improved too with refreshed offices and a new staff kitchen and ‘chill-out’ area.
“The response from our clients and guests tonight has been phenomenal; re-invigorating this beautiful Victorian building will no doubt help us achieve our ambition to grow our business and provide our staff with an environment in which to blossom and achieve their own career goals.”
