Jerry Jao, co-founder and CEO of Retention Science, will be a featured speaker at Plug and Play’s Retail Center of Innovation Launch Event, which will be held Sept. 12 at the Plug and Play Tech Center in Sunnyvale, Calif. Jao will present on the technologies and strategies that online retailers are using to retain their customers and maximize their lifetime value.

Customer retention often takes a backseat to customer acquisition, despite the fact that it costs significantly more to onboard a customer than to retain them. During his presentation, Jao will draw from case studies to demonstrate how Retention Science is helping some of the country’s largest retailers predict their customers’ buying behavior, enabling them to put the right deal in front of them at the right time.

Jao will present at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12. alongside other innovative startups that are changing the world of retail.
