Cvent Wins Coveted American Business Award for Management Team of the Year

Cvent, the world’s largest provider of online event management, meeting site selection and web survey solutions, today announced it was chosen as the 2010 American Business Award winner for Management Team of the Year.

While 11 out of 12 members of Cvent’s senior management team have been with the company since its inception more than ten years ago, our success over the years can be largely attributed to our more than 650 dedicated employees that build quality technology and provide the top-notch service our customers have come to expect from Cvent.

Cvent, the world’s largest provider of online event management, meeting site selection and web survey solutions, today announced it was chosen as the 2010 American Business Award winner for Management Team of the Year. The American Business Awards program, also known as the Stevies®, is the only national, all-encompassing business awards program in the United States and recognizes outstanding performance by executives and organizations across the country.

Cvent’s management team was selected for its exemplary cohesion, business acumen and commitment to employees and customers. Specifically, in 2009, the team led the company through a record-setting year, during which Cvent expanded its revolutionary Cvent Supplier Network, saw year-over-year sales growth of 33 percent and hired more than 100 new employees.

Over 2,700 entries were submitted for the 2010 American Business Awards and more than 200 executives nationwide participated in judging to determine this year's finalists and winners. Other 2010 American Business Award winners include Apple, Oracle, Hilton Hotels and AT&T.

In addition to Management Team of the Year, Cvent was also selected as a finalist for: Best Overall Company - Up to 2,500 Employees, Executive of the Year– Computer Services & Software, and Customer Service Department of the Year.

Cvent was honored, along with the other American Business Award winners, during the annual gala on Monday, June 21 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. More than 500 executives from across the U.S. were in attendance.
