Cvent Ramps Up Hiring in 2010; Earns Second Consecutive “Best Places to Work” Award from Washington Business Journal

Cvent, the world’s largest provider of online event management, meeting site selection and web survey solutions, today announced that it will hire more than 60 employees at its headquarters in McLean, Va. in the coming months to keep pace with the company’s exceptional growth. In addition, Cvent was recently named one of the “Best Places to Work in Greater Washington” by the Washington Business Journal for the second year in a row. This honor was based on a confidential, online employee survey conducted by an independent market research firm.

“Our customer base is growing rapidly, and we hired more than 110 people in the first quarter of 2010 alone to ensure top-notch service for both our existing and potential customers,” said Sophia MacDonald, Cvent’s Human Resources Director. “We plan to expand our team by more than thirty percent this year, and while we are seeking candidates at all experience levels, many of our open positions are ideal for young professionals looking to launch their careers in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.”
