Cvent Announces Key Customer Wins in Web Surveys Division

Cvent, the leading provider of web surveys, event management, and strategic meetings management software, announced significant product growth for its online web survey tool in 2009. Over 1,000 organizations adopted Cvent’s online survey solution last year, helping to achieve record-setting sales for the company. Some key customer acquisitions included major corporations such as Cisco, L.L. Bean, JetBlue Airlines, and Wells Fargo; government organizations including the Department of Veteran Affairs and the Internal Revenue Service; associations including the New York State Nurses Association and HSMAI –Dallas/Ft. Worth; and educational institutions such as Columbia University and Texas Christian University. With Cvent’s web survey software, these organizations can now streamline the way they collect feedback and timely business intelligence.

Stacey B., Research Project Manager at IDEAS, Inc., shared her positive experience in becoming a Cvent Web Survey customer. “It is without question that the Cvent services have far exceeded our expectations for our survey needs. In working with one of Cvent’s competitors in the past, we were limited to resolving any issues with their platform by email request only. We needed a service where we could place a phone call to a technical support department and have our questions answered in a very timely manner. The deciding factor to choose Cvent was the availability to call in to ask questions. I have always had my call answered within a minute and have received exceptional customer service. Many thanks to Cvent for providing a sophisticated software platform, exceptional and timely customer service, and a well organized survey builder.”

Cvent’s survey software includes customizable survey templates, over 170 survey questions stored in the Cvent question and response libraries, more than 17 unique question types, and additional functionality including advanced survey logic that allows users to drill deeper into responses and create engaging, personalized respondent experiences. Superior reporting capabilities also allow users to gather better statistical insight to drive business decisions. Additionally, Cvent’s robust survey toolset includes integration with leading CRM tool, Salesforce, as well as powerful email marketing tools to send automated invitations, reminders, and confirmations.

“We were able to help many major clients increase survey response rates and lower costs associated with conducting surveys in 2009, and we anticipate continued growth of our web surveys product in 2010,” says Lee Orr, Cvent’s Director of Sales for the web survey software division.
