Dahn Yoga & Health Centers, Inc. announced that its Glendale, Arizona center has been named its “Center of the Month” for February, 2011. The Glendale Dahn Yoga members enjoy the benefits of a variety of classes and the energy boost of helping each other.

Dahn Yoga & Health Centers, Inc., a national leader in health and wellness, announced that the Dahn Yoga Center in Glendale, Arizona, has been named Center of the Month for January 2011 for its dynamic classes and benefits to members. Dahn Yoga is "energy" yoga and the classes at the Glendale location offer special energy for its members to develop collaboration as well as strength and flexibility.

The Glendale Center is five years old and since Yewon Hwang was named manager in March 2010 it has been one of the most successful Dahn Yoga centers. Hwang is credited with introducing new systems to the center and renewing its commitment to offer classes that focus on maximizing the energy and health benefits of Dahn Yoga practice that people enjoy together.

“We want the center to have a warm and welcoming atmosphere that encourages energy and collaboration,” said Hwang. “I think we’ve been successful because we have a mindset of never giving up and have created an environment in which everyone feels comfortable and more experienced members willingly help less experienced members.”

Established in 2006, the Glendale Dahn Yoga Center offers yoga, tai chi and meditation classes that promote the benefits of mind-body exercises—improved overall health, more energy and better breathing. The center is located at 5932 W. Bell Road, Suite D110, in Glendale. Hours are 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays.
