Dahn Yoga & Health Centers, Inc., a national leader in health and wellness, has announced the initiation of its “Share the Health” project, a campaign to increase national outreach classes offered through its nonprofit affiliate and with the support of its members.
Community-based Dahn Yoga classes have been offered in the United States for since the company’s early years. There are currently 173 outreach locations in the United States where classes where participants enjoy the benefits of Dahn Yoga free of charge or at extremely reduced costs. Overall, more than 4,000 people in the United States are participating in Dahn Yoga outreach classes at locations as diverse as the participants themselves, including schools, offices, hospitals, senior centers, parks and libraries. Dahn Yoga hopes to greatly increase this number through the Share the Health Project.
Since the time of its founding, Dahn Yoga has been devoted to social responsibility. In addition, many members of the Dahn Yoga community are keenly aware of the benefits of the simple, effective exercises and are continually engaged in opportunities to share Dahn Yoga through outreach classes. “Share the Health” is Dahn Yoga’s way of encouraging these members and increasing its own commitment to outreach activities and community service.
