Dahn Yoga meditation can help with holiday stress. The holiday season can be a stressful time, with financial and social pressures from finding the perfect gift to planning the perfect event. These pressures can be exacerbated by dwelling on holiday disappointments in the past. Dahn Yoga is offering special meditation events to help make this a season of peace. On December 4th, at the Pasadena Convention Center, Dahn Yoga will host part of a series of special nationwide workshops called "The Power of Meditation."
Though yoga has become widespread in American culture, “the yoga most people know is only part of an important process. Yoga calms the body and mind in preparation for meditation. Through meditation we can access our true power” according to Dahn Yoga CEO, Dong Hoon Cha. Dahn Yoga teaches that through meditation, we can learn important stress-management skills. Deep breathing, relaxation and focus are essential for problem solving and creativity. We cannot always control our circumstances, but we can learn to manage our responses.
Based on Korean tradition, Dahn Yoga offers a unique style of meditation that focuses on movement, enabling practitioners to experience the benefits of meditation more quickly. The “Power of Meditation,” a dynamic and entertaining nationwide workshop, will feature: Simple, powerful meditation techniques; live music performance; martial arts demonstration; Collaborative Meditation; and an inspirational presentation by Ilchi Lee, Dahn Yoga founder and author of The Call of Sedona. All participants will receive Dahn Yoga’s biggest giveaway ever: a free one-month Dahn Yoga Membership.
In the Los Angeles area, the event will be held at the Pasadena Convention Center, 300 E. Green Street, Pasadena, California on Sunday, December 4th from 1:00 to 5:00 PM, with an informational expo from 11:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
