LastRehab, a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center referral service made a donation to the Texas Chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Drivers (MADD) as an expression of its commitment to help people suffering from addiction in Dallas. Ike Edwards, President and Founder of LastRehab when making the donation said, "I acknowledge and applaud the work being done by MADD to save lives. Our values are in total alignment with the mission of MADD in its fight against drunk driving and underage drinking."
Ike commented that, "Drunk driving and underage drinking are issues that we deal with every day in this business. This is a problem that has a profound effect on families and I have seen firsthand the devastation. MADD is the largest nonprofit organization working to protect families from drunk driving and underage drinking. Their purpose is to save lives and to support victims and survivors of families impacted by this terrible national problem. I greatly admire this organization that has saved 300,000 lives in its fight against drunk driving."
In 2011, MADD served 60,000 victims and survivors of drunk and drugged driving, that's one every nine minutes. In 2012 their goal is to serve 65,000 families.
Ike founded LastRehab in 2008 to help people suffering from addiction in Dallas find a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center and a final life-long solution to the devastating problems of addiction. Ike is a former addict, is dedicated to help families through the daunting process of getting an addict or alcoholic into a treatment center. He knows how difficult the process is to select the right center with over 25,000 treatment centers in the U.S. offering different treatment alternatives.
LastRehab refers its clients to many different treatment centers that have an emphasis on holistic drug and alcohol rehabilitation. These holistic drug rehab centers focus on the body, mind and spirit to address the underlying issues of addiction. This proven holistic approach helps people suffering from addiction find themselves and go on to lead happy and successful lives. In fact these centers have a success rate of 8 to 10 times higher than traditional treatment centers.
Ike Edwards supports MADD in its fight against drunk driving and underage drinking and his pledge is to help people suffering from addiction in Dallas.
