DALLAS, TEXAS (PRWEB) January 07, 2013
The attorneys at The Law Office of W.T. Johnson have made a donation of money and online publicity to the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas for the month of January.
The donation will help the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas continue to provide grants and programs that align with its United 2020 goals. These goals include preparing 60 percent of high school graduates to succeed in education after high school, moving 250,000 individuals out of poverty permanently and improving health and quality of life across the metropolitan Dallas area.
“We’re proud to be able to give back to our community,” said David Crowe, one of the Dallas lawyers on the W.T. Johnson team. “We believe that every business that can help its community should do so, and we encourage the other businesses in the Dallas area to join us in making Dallas an even better place to live.”
To accomplish its United 2020 goals, the United Way helps 66,000 people gain access to primary health care services, arranges for 14,400 people to find and maintain employment, supports 10,300 youth who participate in academically rich afterschool programs, and more. In total, the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas helps more than 740,000 people each year.
In addition to providing monthly support to the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, the Law Office of W.T. Johnson makes monthly donations to the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, Operation Kindness, the Cancer Support Community of North Texas and the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas.
