Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) November 06, 2012
The Law Office of W.T. Johnson has made a donation for the month of November to Operation Kindness, the oldest and largest no-kill animal shelter in North Texas.
This donation is a continuation of its year-long plan to be a corporate sponsor of the nonprofit animal shelter. The Dallas nursing home abuse attorneys plan to give money and online publicity to the animal shelter every month for a year to aid the shelter in its ongoing mission to care for homeless pets in a no-kill environment until each animal is adopted into a responsible home.
“We’re glad we are able to support the wonderful work that Operation Kindness is able to do in Dallas,” said David Crowe, an attorney on the W.T. Johnson team. “Operating a no-kill shelter helps homeless pets in our area find loving homes, and that is an honorable cause.”
Operation Kindness has saved more than 70,000 animals since it was founded in 1976. Through the shelter and foster homes, the nonprofit cares for more than 250 animals on a day-to-day basis, and more than 3,000 pets from across the Dallas area each year.
Operation Kindness has trained adoption counselors on staff to interview all potential adopters in order to find people the pet that will best meet their needs. All animals adopted from Operation Kindness are spayed or neutered and microchipped, and the organization provides microchipping services for pets not adopted at Operation Kindness for only $20.
This donation is part of the Law Office of W.T. Johnson’s mission to give back to the communities in Dallas and Fort Worth. In order to make the metroplex an even better place to live, the law firm is making donations to a variety of charities that create lasting, positive change in different facets of Dallas life.
