Plastic surgeons are in a unique position to offer patients both non-surgical and surgical options for cosmetic surgery of the face and body.
Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) March 07, 2013
Dallas plastic surgeon Dr. Jeffrey M. Kenkel will serve as chair of the 16th annual Dallas Cosmetic Symposium. Dr. Kenkel, together with colleague Dr. Rod Rohrich, will co-chair the two day meeting which focuses on trends, advances, and breakthroughs in cosmetic surgery and non invasive cosmetic medicine.
Topics at this year's Symposium include “Form Stable or Cohesive Gel Implants”, "Breast Reshaping after Weight Loss", "Evolution of Fat Grafting in Breast Augmentation", "Emerging Role of Fat in Cosmetic Surgery", and an in-depth review of the various breast implant types and how they might affect short and long term results for patients.
“The evolution of breast augmentation is a very popular topic at this year's Cosmetic Symposium," explains Dr. Kenkel. "For the first time in several decades, the landscape of breast augmentation options has shifted dramatically. As plastic surgeons, we are now able to choose between a wide variety of implant types and surgical options to provide patients with treatment choices that fit their specific needs and goals.”
The meeting will also include lectures, panel discussions, and live demonstrations on non-invasive and minimally invasive cosmetic procedures such as soft tissue fillers and Botox. Key topics include instruction on how to perform pain free filler, and non-surgical rejuvenation of the neck.
“Plastic surgeons are in a unique position to offer patients both non-surgical and surgical options for cosmetic surgery of the face and body,” says Dr. Kenkel. “The Dallas Cosmetic Symposium serves as a vital tool to help plastic surgeons appreciate the roles and indications for each of these areas of treatment.”
