Digital Sports Group are today launching the PFA Profile of Liverpool FC defender Daniel Agger. DSG became the official digital partner of the Professional Footballers Association (PFA) earlier this year and have since launched a number of Player profile fan pages on social media site Facebook as well as providing official player pages on their football news site football.co.uk. It was today the turn of Daniel Agger to see his official PFA Profile.

Daniel Agger is a Danish football who plays at center back. He signed for Liverpool in 2006 and has recently signed a long term deal at the club. Captain of the Danish international team too – Agger has been described as a “fine reader of the game, comfortable on the ball and blessed with a ferocious shot.” Moving to Liverpool in the January trasfer window for a bargain fee of £6,000,000 – this made Daniel the most expensive football sold by a Danish club to a foreign club. The contract signing ended speculation regarding Agger's future – who recently had Liverpools famous saying tattoo'ed on his knuckles. The famous “Youll Never Walk Alone” on the Dane's knuckles shows his love for Liverpool. A team he will have played for more than 10 years if he see's out his contract. He appears to have come over his early injury problems that had set him back in the early part of his Liverpool career. Agger has won the FA cup, League Cup and Community Shield at Liverpool. Agger and defensive partner Martin Skrtel held the best defensive record for the majority of the 11/12 season. With over 50 caps for Denmark and the skipper of the side – Agger is as important to Denmark as he is for Liverpool.

Head of Operations at DSG, Matthew Tait had this to say “Agger will have no shortage of fans after his impressive performances for Liverpool.”

“Of course a player with Agger's talent requires a certain level of respect and responsibility and he is sure to be a major hit with fans on Facebook.”

Digital Sports Group will provide further PFA player profiles for every professional footballer in England as well as the latest football results. The Daniel Agger Facebook Page is now live.
