Danny Sullivan, Search Marketing Authority, Launches Media Firm Focusing on Search and Interactive Marketing

Search industry expert Danny Sullivan today unveiled a comprehensive set of services - including web sites, webcasts and trade shows - that will keep visitors ahead of developments in the fast-changing and rapidly growing fields of search and interactive marketing.

Redding, CT (PRWEB) December 5, 2006 -- Search industry expert Danny Sullivan today unveiled a comprehensive set of services - including web sites, webcasts and trade shows - that will keep visitors ahead of developments in the fast-changing and rapidly growing fields of search and interactive marketing. The properties are products of Third Door Media, Inc., founded by Sullivan and several partners.

Third Door Media will provide its services to individuals participating in today's fastest growing advertising market. "Search marketing will continue its strong growth in online advertising, with spending increasing to $6.5 billion by the end of 2006," according to internet market research specialists JupiterResearch.* The firm forecasts that paid search spending will expand to $11.1 billion in 2011, accounting for a compound annual growth rate of 11 percent during the period.

"I'm thrilled about the opportunity to spread education and excitement about interactive and search marketing. So many new people are coming into the market, joining a strong and healthy community already there, and they're all looking for ways to gather, learn and keep ahead of the curve. We aim to help," Sullivan said.

Search Engine Land is the company's first editorial hub, providing daily news and analysis for search marketers. Daily coverage begins on December 11 at http://searchengineland.com.

Search Marketing Now is the home of Third Door Media's webcast series. "How to Find the Right Search Marketing Partner" is the topic of the first webcast, and will be held December 19 at 1PM EST. There is no charge to attend. Register at http://searchmarketingnow.com

The company also announced its first in-person event. Search Marketing Expo is scheduled for June 4 & 5, 2007 in Seattle, WA. More information on the event can be found at http://searchmarketingexpo.com.
