Highlights of the G.I.S. Update include:
Redesigned to enhance ease of access to all tools and features. Tools, options and settings are now arranged in Tabs and Floating Windows instead of separate pages, thereby making the applications truly map-centric.

The map display and navigation is modernized - now, maps are more detailed and load faster and allow the user to view maps in hill-shaded, satellite, (hybrid) or thematic data overlays.

Data Navigation

  • MDx Multidimensional views of database has been redesigned to facilitate rapid creation of reports and graphs.
  • Data fueling the system is reorganized on 3 levels - Groups, Categories and Indicators for easier and faster access.
  • Census Tract and Block Group Data will now be available in MDx Reports under the Create Your Own Reports groups.
