DATAVERSITY™ announced the launch of its most recent article series, Trends in Data 2013. This 7-part sequence will include articles focusing on NoSQL, Cloud/DaaS, Big Data, Data Governance, Metadata, Data Science, and Master Data Management.

2013 Trends in NoSQL, kicks off the Trends in Data 2013 series and focuses on the multifaceted world of NoSQL as it continues to expand. The article takes an in-depth look at these non-relational databases and will give readers and inside view of what’s in the pipeline for 2013. The second article, "2013 Trends in Data as a Service and Cloud Computing," talks of the growing trends of Data as a Service and how Cloud Computing is a means to that end. "Big Data Trends in 2013," talks about what’s happening with Hadoop as well as what new systems are in the pipeline to manage Big Data.

Over the next few weeks DATAVERSITY will continue the Trends in Data 2013 series with the following publications:
