The planet recovers as a result of assistance from an advanced species known as the Watchers. The Watchers travel on to Earth and a series of mishaps lead to the destruction of the dinosaurs.

David resides in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia with his wife of 48-years, Mary. From an early age he has been subject to diverse paranormal experiences. This included premonitions of future events that always came to pass. He is an avid science fiction fan and the local newspaper described him as a budding H. G. Welles, when reviewing one of his stories in the school magazine.
