helps teach children know-how in dealing with sensitive and every day issues
HENDERSON, Mich. (PRWEB) April 15, 2013
“Looper” tells the story of Woolly Bear, a new student at Pillar Elementary. When Woolly walks into his new classroom for the first time, the other children quickly notice that he does not look like them. Looper and Julia are two students in Woolly’s class. They feel bad for Woolly and want to make him feel welcome at Pillar Elementary. Three bullies begin teasing Woolly, until one day in the lunchroom one of the bullies gets a taste of his own medicine.
“The overall theme of ‘Looper’ is treating one another with kindness,” says Fuller.
According to STOMP Out Bullying™, a national anti-bullying initiative, one out of four kids is bullied. It’s an epidemic that Fuller is committed to help end.
“Bullying is happening at every school,” states Fuller. “My book is different from other books in the way it helps children deal with certain situations. All people should be treated equal and we should all treat one another with kindness. ‘Looper’ helps teach children know-how in dealing with sensitive and every day issues.”
